I'm not going to copy the whole thing here (just hit the link above and go read it for yourselves) but here's a little preview.

3. MATH. A huge plus here. No matter how old they get, Steve (geek dad) can still help with the math homework. My ability to be of assistance is going to last another few years before *I* end up throwing the math homework across the room in disgust.


Looks like Scott found something the fits him perfectly. Not like he needed anymore Geek encouragement. Poor Sage. Excuse me, Lucky Sage. Sage? Sage? Are you going to come out yet?

Monster Child

I noticed that our dear little girl's clothes were getting tight. As in too small. I had guessed we wouldn't get through all the lovely 0-3 month clothes we had. Most were hand me downs, which made me glad because we didn't even look at a lot of them. Especially since she isn't even two months old yet. So, I went through her drawers and pulled out tons of clothes, rearranged and washed the new 3-6 month clothes I had. The only thing I wondered: Did she weigh enough to fit into those clothes? Or was it just the long torso that was throwing us off. I went to a breastfeeding group yesterday and had the opportunity to weigh her. Fully dressed (so subtract a couple ounces for clothing weight) she weighed... 12 pounds !!! Good grief! In the five weeks since her last doc. appointment she has gained over three pounds. One thing is for sure, I've going to develop buff arms before I know it!

Lame O

I was catching up on a couple of blogs I like to read when I suddenly felt convicted about the lack of posts on my own blog. Now, granted, most of the time I have more important things to do. Like shower, which doesn't happen often enough. Like chase a munchkin, or a cat, or loads of laundry, dishes and unfinished craft projects. Truth is, I often have ideas of things to blog about. Like the weather. The massive amounts of rain, wind and crazy flooding. Then I convince myself that it's "boring" and don't. Besides I could be eating fudge instead. And really, everyone should be eating fudge instead. Which is another idea... share my 2 minute fudge recipe with the world. I mean, the five people who sometimes read this blog when there are new posts and they remember to check it. But even then, if they made it, that would mean that the world would have five people that are that much happier.
