Meet Cleo the Cowgirl

Image
This is Sage's newest toy: Cleo the Cowgirl. Cleo has bells that jingle in her butt. The stick pony rattles and her chickens on a leash clank together. Cleo has beautiful blond ribbon hair and a big fat pink cowgirl hat. She also has matching pink cowgirl boots. And if things don't get any better, her horse, a bronco, is blue with orange hair. We love Cleo!

Yes, those are Oregon strawberries...

Jealous? I would be. They were amazing! As long as you don't get a stomach bug after eating heaps of them. (Scott doesn't even want to see a strawberry for a very long time.) So I made freezer jam. Lots of freezer jam. If I might see you sometime in the next year and you'd like a jar, let me know. I'll put your name on one.

She will hate us.

This has to be the worst picture of Sage ever. Of course she is only three months old. But it's still pretty bad for just three months old. I think she will hate this one. We better hide it away now because by the time she gets to 6 or so, she's going to know HOW to delete. Won't it be fun to show to her boyfriends. :)

Our social butterfly

We were a little embarrassed. Then I discoved that the neighbors on our left have also interacted with Tigger. They saw him so often and didn't know his name that they called him "Oscar". Last night Scott helped these neighbors move a couch. The wife couldn't remember our names, but remembered Sage's name and (with much gusto) Tigger's name. Which is good because it means they like Tigger. Another neighbor was there helping who lives a couple houses down. He also knew Tigger. Apparently Tigger likes to sit on his chair on his deck. ! I think more people know our cat than know us. We have become "the couple with that large orange cat". I guess this is what happens when you have a friendly cat. It's a good thing he's friendly because now they know w

Last week I weighed my little girl and found her to be 13lbs 4oz. Not bad. I weighed her yesterday: 14lbs 4oz. That's a whole pound in a week. And I keep rotating through the clothes in her drawer.... it's never ending! What a luxury to have these problems. I have a healthy baby.

Well, yesterday she...

shot milk out her nose. Funny, hu?
