The Incident

I'm going to refer to this as the incident. Although, truth be told the whole week before we left for Idaho was an incident. These are the resulting pictures from when Sage was trying to climb onto the dining room table (or so we guess) from the time out chair where she had just been placed. This was after I found my new iphone in the cat's water dish but before the day where Scott went to Urgent Care because he thought he had appendicitis and as he walked out the door Tigger puked all over the floor. Needless to say the kid had been crawling out of her crib all week long and only managed to hurt herself when we were both right there, but not watching her. She's good like that.



That's quite a nice fat lip if I don't say so myself.

oh... poor Sage! How does that kid do it? And she still looks cute (although pathetic) with her fat lip!

How terrible to have such a rough week. Scottie's ok? Not appendicitis? And your iphone, did it survive? Tigger?

I'm happy that she is okay- other than a sweet, fat lip! I am sorry that you had so much chaos in an already chaotic time of year. Hopefully you have recovered...

Monster Child

I noticed that our dear little girl's clothes were getting tight. As in too small. I had guessed we wouldn't get through all the lovely 0-3 month clothes we had. Most were hand me downs, which made me glad because we didn't even look at a lot of them. Especially since she isn't even two months old yet. So, I went through her drawers and pulled out tons of clothes, rearranged and washed the new 3-6 month clothes I had. The only thing I wondered: Did she weigh enough to fit into those clothes? Or was it just the long torso that was throwing us off. I went to a breastfeeding group yesterday and had the opportunity to weigh her. Fully dressed (so subtract a couple ounces for clothing weight) she weighed... 12 pounds !!! Good grief! In the five weeks since her last doc. appointment she has gained over three pounds. One thing is for sure, I've going to develop buff arms before I know it!

Blog

I thought I'd post a little note to say I've been thinking of this little blog a lot lately. Almost every day I have an idea for a post. And just about every day I don't even get close to writing it. You see, part of the problem is time. But most of the problem is perfection. I don't have any pictures. No one cares what's in my head. I don't have time to proofread. I don't want to think. I can't find the stupid link to where I post on this simply too simple blog. I can't live up to my friends who post so often and/or have really pretty blogs and/or always have great photos..... not to even mention professional blogs that are just so shiny! (Professional blogs... i mean really, what has the world come too?)
