Bathtime

Ava was over and Sage needed to take a bath. Ava was more than happy to join in. If you think these pictures are sweet, you totally missed out being there. Total fun. Until we had to rinse Ava's hair. Then she wasn't so happy with us.





It's okay, she got over it once I let her wear Sage's ducky pajamas. Her dad forgot to bring her some over. If Sage was wearing jammies, then she was too!

PS. Does anyone love my MIL's gold bathtub? That's what I thought. She's planning to redo it eventually. Even she know's it's time in the limelight has faded. :)

We had a hospital green tub in our last house- with tile to match... in the shower and on the vanity!! Got to love the 60's.

How cute are they!? They are both getting so big! Rama and my first apartment had a GORGEOUS (smirk) 60's pink tub with a toilet to match. So the gold isn't that bad at all.

I noticed that our dear little girl's clothes were getting tight. As in too small. I had guessed we wouldn't get through all the lovely 0-3 month clothes we had. Most were hand me downs, which made me glad because we didn't even look at a lot of them. Especially since she isn't even two months old yet. So, I went through her drawers and pulled out tons of clothes, rearranged and washed the new 3-6 month clothes I had. The only thing I wondered: Did she weigh enough to fit into those clothes? Or was it just the long torso that was throwing us off. I went to a breastfeeding group yesterday and had the opportunity to weigh her. Fully dressed (so subtract a couple ounces for clothing weight) she weighed... 12 pounds !!! Good grief! In the five weeks since her last doc. appointment she has gained over three pounds. One thing is for sure, I've going to develop buff arms before I know it!

I thought I'd post a little note to say I've been thinking of this little blog a lot lately. Almost every day I have an idea for a post. And just about every day I don't even get close to writing it. You see, part of the problem is time. But most of the problem is perfection. I don't have any pictures. No one cares what's in my head. I don't have time to proofread. I don't want to think. I can't find the stupid link to where I post on this simply too simple blog. I can't live up to my friends who post so often and/or have really pretty blogs and/or always have great photos..... not to even mention professional blogs that are just so shiny!
