I really like my local radio station, Kink . I'm officially part of their online community which allows me to sign up for any of their contests and get their newsletter. This month they are celebrating 38 years on the radio. Every hour they play a couple songs from a month and year they were on the radio (ex. June 1991). They also draw a name. That person wins dinner for two from Applebee's and entered in the big drawing for a Summer Music Pass. The pass gets you into tons of this summers concerts and some good ones at that. Ever heard of John Mayer? Anyways, I just got an Applebee's gift certificate in the mail from Kink. I won. I'm in the running for the Summer Music Pass. Now that's exciting! The only thing better could be having a baby. I'm still waiting on that one.

Why yes, it is late at night and I am still awake. It's been the routine the last week approximately. I go to bed with Scott, listen to him fall asleep, watch the cat join us, listen to him fall asleep and then after an hour of lying there, get up. No one stirs. Then I'm on the computer reading blogs (or other assorted nonsense that requires little brain power) when my Google calender tab starts flashing red. I have a reminder. Usually this is a reminder of an event scheduled for the day that has long passed. It just so happened it's been flashing since 10 minutes before the event because the Google calender window was open. If I had known what it would have told me I would have never clicked on that tab. " Sage is due starting at 12:00am " Well thanks Google calender. I was not aware of that. As if I needed one more reminder from outside my overly stretched and taxed body that I am still pregnant. Okay, so I'm funny. That's my only explanation for these funny pics. I had just finished making a baby sling for a friend here with a shower tomorrow. I tried it on, was getting it adjusted, trying to figure out if it would fit the friend well. Really, what I needed was a baby. At that thought appeared, so did Tigger purring. A large cat, 15-20 pounds, that's a large baby size. I picked him up and plopped him in. It worked wonderfully. The sling fits so much better with a little weight in it! Of course, Tigger hung out the top and no baby would do that. Tigger purred for a little bit, put up with me taking pictures of myself and then wanted out. He did very well. The sling worked so well I'm going to have to get around and make one for myself. I hope my friend likes it.
